Who is Aethos
We are a group of like-minded individuals who seek to enable and empower each other and are rooted in the common belief that it doesn’t matter who you are or where you came from, but what your cause is. Our goal is to BE the community and use it as a platform for positive change.

When I was living in NYC one of the nightclub promoters I was working with decided to start a foundation based on that core belief, "charity: water". Scott Harrison and his team have since brought clean water to millions of people by digging wells and a number of other methods.

Benjamin, Alessandro & Jeff, are the partners of Aethos Milan. Alessandro started the hotel & cocktail bar 10 years ago, called “The Yard”, which grew to become an institution for mixology lovers in Milan. In 2021, Alessandro partnered with Benjamin & Jeff, the co-founders of Aethos to bring the first purpose-driven member community to Milan. Together, they envisioned to create a place of meaningful exchange, community, well being and learning for their friends, family and many like-minded individuals from Milan and around the world.
They support a wide range of causes, from Shelter Suits, an organisation providing immediate support to the homeless, while using up-cycled materials and providing jobs - to being very engaged in environmental protection organisations that protect clean drinking water and help to prevent ocean plastic.

As a bar manager I always push my staff into a "zero-waste" mentality. As soon as we can recycle or re-use something I start to think of the quickest way to do it and to waste as little as we can. Most of our ingredients are sourced locally with the freshest ingredients.
